We are dedicated to supporting childcare settings with experienced professionals, ensuring high-quality care and education for young children. We have a large nursery and OOSC client base looking for supply workers to cover staff shortages and holidays.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Supply Nursery Practitioner to join our team. This role involves supporting the daily care and educational needs of children in nurseries around York.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care: Provide high-quality care and attention to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Safeguarding Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety and protection of children in line with our safeguarding policy.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the permanent practitioners to ensure consistency and provide the best care and education for all children.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (or equivalent qualification).
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A current DBS check (we can help put this in place)
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures, with a commitment to safeguarding children’s welfare.

Desirable Skills:

  • First aid qualification.
