Nursery Manager

We are looking for a nursery manager for a warm, well-established independent nursery located in the heart of a charming small market town. With strong community roots and a child-centred ethos, we are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead the setting into its next exciting chapter.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of early years practitioners
  • Ensure outstanding standards of care, learning, and safeguarding
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the nursery
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and the wider community
  • Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and staff development
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality practice

You will be both a hands-on leader and a strategic thinker, committed to excellence in early years provision.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds at least a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
  • Has proven leadership experience in an early years setting
  • Has strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
  • Is organised, confident, and approachable
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and people-management skills
  • Is passionate about creating enriching environments for children
  • Values community engagement and partnership working
